The work of this program area is focused on philanthropic challenges related to cultural heritage and the promotion of artistic and cultural activities.
The Foundation aims at supporting the revamping of the cultural system by identifying and experimenting new models of making and enjoying culture that may contribute to people’s wellbeing and to the development of our communities. An ambitious challenge that the Foundation pursues with the collaboration of cultural institutions, and which is based on two main strands:
- Culture for Citizens: access to culture for all, notably for the most fragile or living in marginal areas, as a tool for new forms of people’s participation to social, economic and civic life, and for the regeneration of local identities
- Culture for the Territories: cultural innovation and enhancement of tangible and intangible heritage, as a model of sustainable development of our territory and its communities, that combines social and economic growth with environmental balance
