Metropoli Agricole 2015

The development of urban and peri-urban agriculture, and of stronger ties between the city and its agricultural outer fringe has positive effects on multiple aspects of city life. It drives job creation in the agricultural sector, integrates food into other local policies (environmental, social, commercial, urban planning), and makes people more conscious of their choices.

These themes will be the focus of this year’s Metropoli Agricole (Agricultural Metropolises) Conference with the presentation of international case studies and projects supported by Fondazione Cariplo in this field.

The conference was held on 22 October, 2015 at University of Milan.
