He promoted numerous social housing initiatives, including the first dedicated real estate fund, developed in 2008 in collaboration with local public administrations. From 2012 to 2014, he served as Co-General Manager of CDP Investimenti Sgr, the fund management company of Cassa Depositi e Prestiti, the Italian Development Bank, managing the national Fund of Funds dedicated to Social Housing, and overseeing the implementation of numerous projects across Italy. He also served as a Board Member of REDO SGR (now Near Group), a real estate asset management and service group specializing in urban regeneration, social and student housing. At the beginning of his career, he gained experience with ABN AMRO Corporate Finance, Deloitte & Touche Corporate Finance, and Bankers Trust International.
