Campus Monneret, a new university residence in Milan

Are you an out-of-town student and renting an accommodation in Milan is too expensive for you? Now there is Campus Monneret, a new university residence in Milan’s Città Studi (Lambrate) borough.

Long owned by Fondazione Cariplo, serving as a residence for students and workers, this property has now been fully renovated. Designed for students, teachers and other workforce members in need of accommodation, Campus Monneret offers a wide range of solutions including 137 flats and a choice of beds for up to 268  peoples from €320+VAT/month (utilities bills included) for either short or longer term stays, from a few days up to eleven months. Communal spaces include a study room, a relax/dining room, a gym, a kitchen, a large hall and an internet point. The excellent quality of the renovation can be particularly appreciated in the first-rate architectural solutions, finishes, furnishings and distribution of spaces.

The project was promoted by the Social Housing Foundation in collaboration and under an agreement with Milan’s Municipal Administration and in partnership with InvestiRE SGR SpA, the management company of Lombardy Property Fund - Sub-Fund One, that will become the property owner. The Campus will  become one of the investments of the Social Housing Funds’ Integrated System having as its key investor the Social Housing Fund Fondo Investimenti per l'Abitare (FIA) managed by CDP Investimenti SGR SpA. The project meets the requirements of Italy’s Ministry of Education and Research and of Lombardy’s Regional Government which allowed to apply for co-funding by the government under Italy’s Act 338 of 2000. The Campus’ operational management will be carried out by In-Domus s.r.l. a company pursuing social goals formed by the Social Housing Foundation in 2014.

Campus Monneret is conveniently located close to Milan Universities (Città Studi) and well served by public transport being within a short walking distance of the Lambrate underground and railway stations.
