RRI Tools, a second consultation workshop was held in Lausanne

A second one-day consultation workshop to discuss Responsible Research and Innovation (RRI) under RRI Tools, the three-year project funded by the European Commission to establish and disseminate RRI practices in Europe, was held in Lausanne last October 16. The workshop was organized by Fondazione Cariplo in partnership with l’Ecolè Polytechnique, and followed the one held in Milan on September 11, 2014. The twenty one active participants and eight observers provided a balanced representation of the various players involved in Research & Innovation including policy makers, researchers, the education system, civil society and businesses.

Both workshops represented the first step to build an RRI Community of practice across all European countries, paving the way for future collaborations.
