CENTRAL CHARITY COMMISSION
The Central Charity Commission is the Foundation’s governing body. It is tasked with defining the strategic direction of philanthropic activity and investment of assets, and with approving the planning documents and financial statements.
The Commission consists of 28 members and remains in office for four financial years.
President
GIOVANNI AZZONE
The President is the legal representative of the Foundation, chairs the Board of Directors and the Central Charity Commission, promotes the Foundation’s activities and supervises the implementation of resolutions and the functioning of the organisational structure.

VICE-PRESIDENTS
The Vice-Presidents exercise the functions of the President in the event of his absence or impediment in accordance with the provisions of Art. 21 of the Articles of Association.

BOARD OF DIRECTORS
The Board of Directors is the Foundation’s governing body, appointed by the Central Charity Commission. The Board has all powers of ordinary and extraordinary administration, except those attributed by the Articles of Association to the President or other Foundation bodies. The Board of Directors consists of the President, Vice-Presidents and four other members; it remains in office for four financial years.
BOARD OF STATUTORY AUDITORS
The Board of Statutory Auditors is the Foundation’s supervisory body. The Board of Statutory Auditors consists of three standing members and two alternate members, is appointed by the Central Charity Commission and remains in office for four financial years; the Board of Statutory Auditors elects the Chair from among its members.
General Manager and CEO
SERGIO URBANI
The General Manager and CEO is in charge of the Foundation’s organisational structure and staff and provides for the functional and organisational co-ordination of activities under the guidance of the President, draws up proposals to be submitted for deliberation by the Board of Directors and the Central Charity Commission, and ensures their implementation.

ADVISORY COMMITTEES
The Central Charitable Commission is divided into Advisory Committees, which meet from time to time to co-ordinate and evaluate in detail each of the Foundation’s activities.
