He is a <strong>Professor <\/strong>of Business and Strategic Decisions at the <strong>Politecnico di Milano, where he also served as Rector <\/strong>from 2010 to 2016. Throughout his career, he has held numerous positions in academia, public institutions, and the non-profit sector.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-9d6595d7 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"flex-basis:10px\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"flex-basis:80%\">\n<p>He is <strong>President of IFOM, the research institute for molecular oncology <\/strong>of AIRC. Previously, <strong>he served on the boards of the Triennale di Milano and the Italian Association for Cancer Research (AIRC)<\/strong> and held roles for the Office of the Prime Minister, the Ministry of Economy and Finance, ISTAT, and the Lombardy Region. He also served as President of Fondazione di Comunit\u00e0 Milano. His research focuses on organizational analysis, management control, and reporting in both businesses and public administrations, with particular attention to sustainability. It also addresses areas relevant to the Foundation, including precision welfare and the evolution of public services in response to emerging needs, particularly those driven by demographic trends such as population aging.
