Understanding and governing relations between local areas, Italy and Europe

The Foundation’s strategic vision recognises that local areas are increasingly interconnected with economic, social and political dynamics on a domestic and European scale. Strengthening communities therefore equates to understanding and governing these relationships, supporting people and local systems in grasping opportunities and facing challenges that go beyond territorial borders.

Collaborations, skills and infrastructure for international integration  

In accordance with our mandate, we encourage participation by local areas in European networks and programmes, to support the construction of partnerships and the strengthening of the skills required to access funding, develop strategic projects and generate lasting impacts, thus making communities true protagonists of change.
