We promote interventions that integrate skills and tools from the various philanthropic areas of the Foundation, by adopting a cross-sectoral approach oriented towards collaboration, experimentation and the construction of shared and integrated solutions.

Our cross-sectoral action deals with complex needs that require a systemic vision and an integrated approach.

The Cross-sectoral & Mandate Challenges Area addresses emerging needs that cannot be addressed within a single area, but require theconvergence of social, cultural, environmental and scientific expertise. We build shared processes and cross-sectoral tools to develop co-ordinated responses to current and future challenges that simultaneously affect people, communities and local areas.

We build
multi-disciplinary collaborations
and new models of intervention.

We take systemic action based on shared pathways, experimentation, use of data, evidence analysis and impact assessment tools. Local stakeholders are supported in
defining common strategies, so that crossing sectors becomes a structural lever
of their work and local areas become
increasingly resilient and participatory.

Cross-sectoral & Mandate Challenges Area commitment to
implementation of Lines of Mandate.

This area contributes to the Lines of Mandate by activating cross-sectoral and interdisciplinary pathways that act on the
priority issues identified by the Foundation’s governance and which require joint commitment, shared methodologies and skills to co-ordinate different areas to address mandate challenges. A significant example is the interventions dedicated to
NEETs, early childhood, disabilities and
the prison issue.
