We promote access to culture and the enhancement of artistic heritage as strategic levers for the development of communities. We support vital cultural systems that can integrate well-being, cohesion and opportunities for new talent.

Our cultural action addresses significant
educational, social inclusion and urban regeneration
objectives.

The Arts & Culture Area aims to contribute to the development of more inclusive and cohesive communities through culture
. We take action by connecting up local stakeholders to respond to complex challenges: supporting the role of culture as social infrastructure, promoting the responsible use of cultural heritage and encouraging urban regeneration processes by creating new opportunities, especially for the younger generations.

We promote
creativity as a driver of development, to protect cultural heritage.

We support initiatives that protect and leverage tangible and intangible heritage, encouraging new virtuous models for taking care of cultural heritage and its public use, by supporting non-profit organisations and bodies in the development of new projects. We invest in
cultural innovation, creativity and contemporary artistic vernaculars that contribute to promoting participation, inclusion and the reduction of inequalities.

Arts & Culture Area commitment to implementation of Lines of Mandate.

The Arts & Culture Area contributes to the Lines of Mandate strategy by promoting
cultural processes that generate shared value, reduce inequalities, broaden horizons and strengthen communities
. We work to ensure that culture acquires a systemic vision and becomes a shared space for meeting, innovation and collective responsibility.
