The Arts & Culture Area aims to contribute to the development of more inclusive and cohesive communities through culture
. We take action by connecting up local stakeholders to respond to complex challenges: supporting the role of culture as social infrastructure, promoting the responsible use of cultural heritage and encouraging urban regeneration processes by creating new opportunities, especially for the younger generations.
We promote
creativity as a driver of development, to protect cultural heritage.
We support initiatives that protect and leverage tangible and intangible heritage, encouraging new virtuous models for taking care of cultural heritage and its public use, by supporting non-profit organisations and bodies in the development of new projects. We invest in
cultural innovation, creativity and contemporary artistic vernaculars that contribute to promoting participation, inclusion and the reduction of inequalities.
